At PRIME, our internship program offers an immersive experience that goes beyond the classroom, providing exposure to key elements of successful project execution. Our 10-12 week summer internship program offers interns a hands-on learning experience across job sites, where they work closely with various trades and gain an understanding of industry processes. Interns will have the opportunity to join our teams in San Jose, CA or Bellevue, WA, and will develop practical skills in project management, estimating, logistics, virtual construction services, and safety. This experience not only bridges the gap between education and the workforce but also opens doors to potential future employment with PRIME upon graduation.<\/p>\n

Sponsored housing is available for interns relocating from outside the commutable regions, ensuring they can fully immerse themselves in the PRIME internship experience.<\/p>\n

Sophomore and Junior College Internships<\/strong>
Spending your summer with us will give you an invaluable experience that simply isn't taught in the classroom. We will give you hands-on experience learning industry processes, working on complex job sites and collaborating with multiple trades.\u00a0You will gain relevant experience to bring back to your school work, and that experience will help you transition into the workforce \u2014 and perhaps even our team \u2014 when you're ready to graduate.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Our Internship Program\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
Our internship program is competitive and runs for 10-12 weeks each summer, with opportunities in both our San Jose, CA and Bellevue, WA offices.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Selection Process<\/strong>
Each fall, we attend several college career fairs, and from those events, we select the top candidates from each school to join us at our Bellevue headquarters for a full-day competition. You'll learn about who we are and what we do as well as participate in a group project and panel interview. From there, we select the best candidates for the following summer internship rotation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Experience You'll Gain<\/strong>
As an intern here, you will spend roughly the first half of the internship learning the ins and outs of our estimating, prefabrication and logistics departments. The reminder of the internship will be spent shadowing a project manager on-site, gaining hands-on experience in coordinating with other trades and generating RFI's and substantiations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
